YOGA FOR HEALTH
I trained in traditional Yoga from a young age, with a Swami (Yogi) at my local Hindu temple in Berkshire. By the time I was a teenager, I was practicing for several hours a day and attending classes multiple times a week. The physical postures made my body strong and supple, which supported me as a professional dancer. The breathing techniques helped me to overcome asthma and within a few years I was able to eliminate the use of my inhaler. Yoga enabled me to connect with myself, which ultimately led to my spiritual quest of going to India to discover my life’s purpose.
I spent an intensive period of time at Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, South India to complete my 200 hour Teacher Training qualification. During this solitude I had a calling to share my experiences with others and thus I began teaching adults in 2010 and later went on to qualify as a children’s Yoga instructor. In 2021, I completed 100hrs Meditation Teacher Training qualification.
WELLBEING WORKSHOPS & RETREATS
Wellbeing Workshops and Retreats are group sessions that are held at DNC Studio in Slough.
Ideal for anyone looking for reflective and relaxing time to escape external distractions. An opportunity to turn inwards and explore deeper layers of themselves. The workshops explore empowering themes such as positive thinking, stress management, discovering your purpose and self-care to name a few.
The workshops are run by Nikita [Reiki healer, Meditation facilitator and Life Coach]. Nikita combines her range of skills to holistically guide and support men & women of all ages, throughout their self-growth and personal development journey.
Meditation is a practice that has a long history of use, for increasing calmness and physical relaxation, improving psychological balance and enhancing health and well-being.
Scientific research has shown the significant effects that regular Meditation can have on our long-term mental health.

As well as running weekly Meditation classes, Nikita is regularly hired by corporate organisations to deliver workshops.
NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING [NLP] is a study of our thinking, behaviour and language patterns. It is a process of increasing awareness of our conscious and unconscious strategies to achieve excellence.
I certified in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Coaching under the able guidance of Sue Knight (International author of “NLP at work”).
Through 1-1 or group coaching, you will learn about the relationship between your thoughts, behaviours and actions. You will explore how to break the cycle, change your patterns and overcome limiting beliefs that no longer serve you.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique, based on the principle of powerful life force energy, being transferred by means of touch. The energy is channelled to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body, resulting in restored physical and emotional wellbeing. Throughout the retreat, you will be treated to moments of Reiki healing, at the end of the Yoga class or during meditation. Many people say that they feel waves of heat and others experience a radiant ray of light.
MINDFULNESS THROUGH DANCE
I started learning Indian classical (Kathak) dance as a teenager in my hometown of Berkshire. By the age of 18 I became serious about the artform and decided to embark on a journey to India, to learn the art form in its motherland. I studied for 10 consecutive years in Mumbai, culminating with debut dance recital in London.
I enjoy being a solo performer and the main teacher at DNC Dance & Yoga Studio in Berkshire, as well as online. I have had the privilege of training several hundreds of kids, teenagers and adults since forming my company in 2005.
Now 2 decades after I took my first steps, I specialise in ‘mindfulness through dance’. I combine my skills as a dance artist, meditation facilitator and draw on my knowledge of chakras and breath work to offer therapeutic sessions uniting the body, mind and spirit through music and movement.
